FAQ

Are your rates hourly?

No, they’re not. Every project quote is value-based, meaning you’re paying for the value and ROI of the finished product, not the time spent producing it. Once I know more about your content needs I’ll provide you with a fixed all-inclusive quote, so there are no added surprises when I send the invoice.

My rates also include:

  • Time for research (including competitors)
  • A content strategy plan
  • SEO keyword integration & formatting
  • Source and supply up to three premium images to the value of $22.00 NZD
  • Resize, crop and crunch images accordingly
  • Two revisions
  • Internal links to your existing in-house content and reputable external links that aren’t a competition
  • All communication via email or phone
  • Keep full rights to the content

Do I get to keep full rights to the articles?

Yes, you do! A 20 % ghostwriting fee is included in the price. This is because I hand over full rights to the client and won’t receive a byline or any link or reference to my name which means I miss out on building domain authority. You get to put your name on it while letting it generate leads for life!

Do you upload the content to the content management system?

Yes, I do. For an additional fee, I will write the meta description – a small but important piece of copy that shows up on Google. This along with an enticing image and hook-grabbing blog title are key elements customers look at when deciding to click or not.

I will also do all the SEO elements including using relevant links and ensure all the boxes are ticked before you publish and promote.

Can you guarantee that my website will rank high on Google?

Your content has a significant influence on how you rank on Google. Therefore hiring a professional copywriter with SEO and digital marketing experience gives you the extra edge needed to get more eyes on your business.

However, no one can guarantee you the top spots on Google search engines. (and if they do, be weary!) There are so many elements to running a successful website, and content marketing is just one of them.

In saying that, my goal for my clients is to make an ROI from their content budget. If you don’t succeed, then I don’t either. So I make it my business to help yours!

Are you available as a contributing writer?

Yes, I am! If we both think I’m a match for your type of content needs, then I can submit one-off or regular articles at a discounted fee if I receive a byline.

What are your rates?

My quotes depend on the project and length. The most popular posts I write are between 800 and 1000 words. However, I offer shorter and much longer posts. I offer discounted bundled prices for my mid-long-term clients that require more than two posts a month. My rates are very competitive, starting at $499.00 NZD per post.

I offer value for your investment without the costly agency prices or the cheap content the content mills provide.

1. Can I pay via credit card?

Of course! Your invoice will have a link that allows you to pay online with a credit card.

2. How many rounds of edits do I get?

Every project includes two rounds of edits. If you need additional edits after that, there is a project-based fee for additional work. This fee helps ensure we’re both on the same page from the start of the project. In saying that I have a high record of producing posts that don’t need revisions. What’s important is that you are happy with the final result.

3. How soon can you start?

As soon as your request has been accepted and we’ve agreed upon the terms, conditions and brief then I add you to my calendar and I get to work!

4. When can I expect my content?

Final products will be given to you within 5 working days. For my long-term clients, I meet deadlines that work best for them.
